Elizabeth Vázquez


She graduated in Law from La Salle University, León.

She completed postgraduate studies on Reforms to the Civil Procedure Code of the State of Guanajuato, as well as Diplomas on Civil Contracts and Obligations, and the Protection of Constitutional Rights.

She worked at the León division of the General Attorney’s Office of the Republic from 1995 to 1997.

The attorney has been a litigator since 1998 in Commercial, Civil, Criminal and Amparo.

She has extensive experience in analysis, contract auditing and preparation, agreements, assignment of loans, subrogation and statements of account.

She has consulted on legal strategies and advised on business legal matters and judicial and extrajudicial collection for SCOTIABANK INVERLAT, S.A., BANCO MERCANTIL DEL NORTE, HUDSON ADVISORS DE MÉXICO S.A., CECALPULLI RESOLUCIÓN DE CARTERA and RECUPERFIN COMERCIAL S.C. DE R.L. DE C.V., and has been extrajudicial collection coordinator for the companies AXTEL AND CREDITO REAL.

She is also the legal representative for disputes and collections of SCOTIABANK INVERLAT S.A., CECALPULLI RESOLUCIÓN DE CARTERA, S. DE R.L. DE C.V., RECUPERFIN COMERCIAL S. DE R.L. DE C.V. and FAREZCO, II.

Her litigation experience includes mortgage portfolio recovery, contracts, amendment agreements, assignment of loans, statements of account and legal documents that are the basis of a judicial action.
She has been partner of the law firm Gasca y Asociados in León, Guanajuato since 1998 and is currently Director of the Litigation Department of the law firm Agora Juristas, S.C.

She has taught classes on Criminal Policy.


Natalia García


Attorney At Law Natalia García graduated in Law from the Autonomous Technical Institute of Mexico (ITAM) in 2009.

She has a LLM in Constitutional Law and Constitutional Remedies from Iberoamericana University in Leon, Mexico.

In León, García worked at the Commercial Trust Directorate of BBVA Bancomer, where she was responsible for structuring real estate trusts, administration, payment sources, shareholders and guarantees, as well as the preparation and review of different types of trust related contracts.

She was Manager of the portfolio of trusts incorporated from the incorporation of HSBC México from 2008 to 2012 and worked for Deutsche Bank México from 2007 to 2008 in its Trust Division in Mexico City.

Her legal practice was enriched by the work she did at Panamericana de Patentes y Marcas, S.C., and the prestigious law firm Guerra González & Asociados, S.C., in Mexico City from 2004 to 2007, where she was responsible for dealings with the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property and litigation at courts of the common and federal law.

Carlos Alvarado


Carlos Alvarado graduated as a lawyer in 1992 from La Salle University in León, Guanajuato, Mexico.

He practiced law in Mexico until 1998, when he moved to the United States.

From 1998 to 2002, he worked at the Mexican Consulate in Seattle, Washington, which enabled him to become familiar at close range with the lifestyle and needs of immigrants living in the United States of America.

For five years he worked at the Law Firm of Larry Taylor and the Law Firm of Feldman & Lee in Washington State, gaining a great deal of experience in the oral and USA legal system.

He has been a founding partner of the Law Firm The International Law Group since 2002, (Agora Juristas, S.C.).

The firm is now headquartered in León, Guanajuato and he is dedicated to international law, being expert on International Restitution of Children Abducted by its parents, on human rights as well as international contracts and international business.

In 2015, he has concluded LLM studies in International Protection of Human Rights by Alcala University in Spain.

He also has concluded LLM studies in Mexican Constitutional Law and by Iberoamericana University in the city of León in México.

In the summer of 2015, he got a Diploma in Legal English from Girton College at Cambridge University in Cambridge, UK.

He attended practical seminaries on mediation and marketing as well as executive and human resources management.

He has a Diploma in Civil Orality from the Bar Association of León, Guanajuato, and a Diploma in Commercial and Civil Orality from the Mexican Supreme Court in Leon, Mexico branch.

He has taken courses on Justice for Adolescents in the School of Studies and Legal Research of the Judiciary of the State of Guanajuato, Mexico and Rights of Children and Access to Justice by the Mexican Supreme Court of Justice, the Office of Ombudsman for Children Rights AC and the United Nations Fund for Children.

Being an expert lawyer on International Restitution of Children, he is founder member of the LEPCA, a conference created in The Hague for Lawyers Focusing on International Parental Child Abduction.

Mr. Alvarado is part of the attorney’s network of Reunite, base in London, UK and IStand in Washington, D.C., both nonprofit worldwide organization involved on International Parental Child Abduction cases.

He has participated in many international conferences on The Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction in Rome, Brussels, The Hague, Madrid, New York, Washington, D.C. and Berlin.

As Professor, he has taught Law, Private and Public International Law and Theory of the State in La Salle University in the city of Leon, Guanajuato.

Currently he teaches several curses and seminars in Human Rights to Human Rights Advocates, Private Lawyers, State Police and Prosecutors in the Mexican State of Guanajuato and on LLM Program in Constitutional Remedies at the University of Valle de Atemajac in León, México.

He is a member of the Federation of Lawyers Specialists in oral trials in Mexico and representative of the Inter-American Bar Association in the State of Guanajuato, Mexico.
